Reduces Male Infertility and Increases Sperm Volume by 500%...!
which is a collection of varicose veins in the scrotum, that causes an elevation in testicular temperature. A varicocele can interfere with the cooling function
of the scrotum and may be treated by surgery.
Another potential cause of Male Infertility is antibodies. Antibodies "mistake" sperm as foreign pathogens and seek to destroy them. A man may
produce antibodies to his own sperm as a result of testicular trauma or surgery such as vasectomy for male sterilization.
Unfortunately, there are very few cases where medications have been shown to be effective in treating Male Infertility. If a drug is administered, it
usually requires three months, is very expensive, and rarely significantly improves sperm parameters. The exception to this is the male who is severely
hypogonatropic (extremely low levels of FSH and LH).
However, procedures such as IVF with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) can be used to treat moderate to severe Male Infertility. Oftentimes, a
single sperm can be obtained from the male reproductive tract and injected directly into the egg. This means that a man with no sperm in his ejaculate may
be capable of producing a genetically related child. Please see our discussion on ICSI.
Sometimes men who had a vasectomy want to have the procedure reversed. Although this should be considered a permanent method of birth control, life's
circumstances change and many men with a vasectomy seek specialty care. The vas deferens can be reconnected surgically and the success depends upon
where and how the tubes were severed and the skill of the urologist. However, many studies indicate that IVF with ICSI produces a higher per cycle pregnancy
rate even in these situations. Please see Dr. Feinman's article on this topic.
The good news is that the vast majority of men can father children with proper infertility specialist care.
